About Pure Sleep
Pure Sleep is one of many anti-snoring devices on the market. One of its main competitors is ZQuiet. These products work by orienting the wearer’s jaw slightly forward, which reduces or eliminates snoring in some users. Pure Sleep is BPA free.
The official website is puresleep.com, which has been registered since 2004. You can see a screen capture of the website below, taken in March 2014. As of December 2015, the appearance of the website remains unchanged.
The Pure Sleep Facebook page is only occasionally updated with a new posts, however they do still field questions there on a regular basis.
How much does Pure Sleep cost?
You must be 18 or older to purchase Pure Sleep. You must also answer a questionnaire before purchasing.
They offer a “trial” for $9.95 shipping for two devices. After a month, you’ll be charged $59.90, for a total of $69.85.
According to the website Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), there is a 30 day period in which the Pure Sleep unit can be exchanged or returned for a refund.

Our Pure Sleep Review
Before you can use Pure Sleep, you must set it up via a process which requires boiling it to soften the material in order to create a mold to your teeth.
We found the material to be harder than other similar devices, which was somewhat less comfortable than competing products.
Does Pure Sleep work? We determined that Pure Sleep does work as advertised for some people, but it is not without its drawbacks. It takes an adjustment period to get used to it, and there may be a soreness in the jaw due to its unnatural positioning while wearing the device.
There are also different types of snorers which may experience different results. Those who snore mostly through their nose appear to benefit most from Pure Sleep, while the “mouth breathers” may not find as much relief.
Another point to consider is how long a Pure Sleep unit will last. On November 27th of 2014, Pure Sleep addressed a question on their Facebook page in which a customer inquired about how long the apparatus will last. Below is a segment of the quoted answer:
…most people can get six to twelve months of use from a PureSleep device before performance starts to degrade due to normal wear and tear, although some people notice significant deterioration in as little a three months and some people can happily use their PureSleep for well over a year.
Potential consumers may also be interested in some Pure Sleep complaints over at Ripoff Report. Some users there have suggested the product may cause jaw problems, dry mouth, or an irritated throat.
Bottom Line
Pure Sleep may work for some people, but comfort levels vary considerably for those using the product. Snoring is not a problem that can be solved for everyone by one device.
